Hormonal Imbalance
A professor claims that I must compose
A poem that defines the scientific prose
Such poem which describes the human condition
A piece of poetry that elucidates the anatomical connection
Yet I am dazed and confused of the words that need written
I am not a poet, by inspiration smitten
Yet I must do what I am told
So I pursue the order foretold
What say you, feeble and decrepit mind?
Shall I exhaust all the knowledge to create and define?
I must write about the Anterior Pituitary
So I shall, with poetic magnanimity
This gland I am supposed to describe
Contains different Hormones that are uniquely prescribed
Among the aforementioned are the Leutinizing and Adenocorticotrophic
Follicle stimulating and the Hormone Lactogenic
Such mediocre task I confront with difficulty
The keyboard bleeds with my ingenuity
I tire of writing of this essence
I am conquered by Hormonal Imbalance
